I adopted my daughter Lucy from Ethiopia in 2005. I am a single mom. I am also a social worker and a human being. Most days it goes in that order; mom, social worker, human being. Wouldn't want to change the mom thing for the whole world. Please click to link to my old blog for a tour of the Ethiopian adoption process, and the first year or so of Raising Lucy
She's SO beautiful!!! We're just waiting for our I600A to come in, and I often pass the time reading your blog and others, and I'm always so excited to see new pics. She looks like a baby version of the Ethiopian Estee Lauder model! We didn't specify gender and I'm pretty sure we're getting a baby boy, but everytime I see pics of Lucy, I want a girl! I love that you dress her in orange. Every gender-neutral outfit I've bought so far is orange. Looks so cute with brown skin. Glad she's feeling better!!
